AAAA Members,
Please join the AAAA Jersey Chapter for an in-person lunch and learn on RF Threat & Response Generation for EW System Validation & Test on Thursday, June 25th!
The session will be conducted by Alan Worle, Sr. Field Application Engineer at Tektronix. Alan is focused primarily on analog and RF / aerospace-defense applications, joining Tektronix in 2006. He is an avid amateur radio enthusiast (W2AEW). Alan also shares his passion for electronics, radio and test and measurement on his popular YouTube channel.
EW systems are increasingly tested against dense, fast-changing RF environments that include overlapping emitters, instantaneous hops, realistic pulse interactions, and recorded mission data. This Lunch & Learn will show how to create those scenarios for DRFM, RWR, and RF subsystem validation, while also correlating RF activity with system timing and module-level signals for faster debug and better confidence in results.
See how to move beyond single-signal, tuned-source stimulus methods and build more realistic EW test scenarios with wideband, fast-agile, multi-signal, and replay-based threat generation.
Topics will include:
? Threat generation for DRFM, RWR, and RF subsystem test
? Multi-emitter & congested RF scenario creation
? Wideband instantaneous frequency-agile signal generation
? Replay of recorded mission data files
? Sequenced scenario generation for complex engagements
? Correlating RF stimulus and response with system-level timing and control activity
Please note this event will be presented in-person only and attendance is limited to US Citizens. Advanced submission of site visit request and proof of US citizenship/person is required for all non-L3Harris persons.
RSVP by noon EDT on Monday, June 22nd to secure your spot at the session! Attendance at this event is complimentary and lunch will be provided to all attendees!
Looking forward to seeing you there!
