DUSTOFF Flight Medic of the Year Award

CRITERIA

Sponsored by Air Methods, Inc., this National Award will be presented to the "Flight Medic who, through his or her demonstrated performance of duty, exemplifies the spirit of the DUSTOFF mission and the motto of DUSTOFF units since Major Charles Kelly's last words set the standard – "When I have your wounded." The award can be for a lifetime achievement in DUSTOFF Aviation or for a specific mission accomplished in support of wounded or injured warriors.

A candidate for this AAAA National Award must be U.S. Army, Active or Reserve Component, serving in an aviation company air ambulance (Medical Company Air Ambulance or Charlie Company of a GSAB under the transformation) and assigned as a flight Medic/Platoon Sergeant/First Sergeant and actively engaged in aeromedical evacuation. Membership in the AAAA is not a requirement for consideration.
